Pro Tip #9: I will admit it. Most often I learn how to do things by first making lots of mistakes and doing it wrong or the hardest way possible. Today I finally made a tiny but perhaps life altering breakthrough.
For years I have been freezing my brown and spotted bananas and them pulling them out to make smoothies (so delicious and tastes a lot like ice cream)…. but I always fumbled with getting the peel off. Recently I revealed to @seanhlee that you could run it under hot water and then pull it off. Well… why had I not all along thought of just peeling the banana and then putting it in a bag and then into the freezer?! So simple. Right in front of my face. So anyways this tip was really about a couple of things. First, you’re never too old to learn new tricks and also don’t feel bad when you’ve done something silly (repeatedly). And more importantly…. frozen bananas in smoothies are one of life’s great treasures especially if you can’t eat ice cream like me.
